Background

Two years ago, after a life changing event, I decided to make drastic changes.  I realized that life is short and I needed to experience more of what life had to offer.

The first thing I did was take a motorcycle riding class and get my endorsement.  Although I'd ridden dirt bikes as a kid, it had been nearly 30 years since I'd ridden.  It was fascinating how much I'd remembered about riding!

I had been looking at Indian Motorcycles for months, and once I had my endorsement, I test rode two Indian models, a Chieftain Limited and a Springfield.   Although I had intended to buy a Springfield, the test ride changed my mind.   On December 26, 2018, I bought a 2017 Indian Chieftain Limited and I love it!!

In July of 2020, I won a $250 gift card from RideNow Chandler.  Upon arriving at the dealership, I saw the most beautiful red, white, and blue 2020 Indian Scout.  It was love at first sight!  After four days of telling myself I didn't need a second bike, I bought the bike.

Being part of our IMRG group has been an amazing experience, and I've learned a lot about motorcycles and my Chapter colleagues.  In fact, I recently joined the Chandler IMRG Chapter as well, after joining them for a ride.   I really enjoy the spirit of camaraderie and friendship within the group and the freedom of the open road.

Since 2018, my motto has become:  Life is short, buy the bike!
